St. Thaddeus Home & Garden Tours are held every other year.
This next tour is scheduled for April, 2018. The exact date has not been determined, but preparations have already begun.
Tour hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, along with a Heritage Market featuring gently used and repurposed antique linens and other hand made items from the women of St. Thaddeus plus a Strawberry and Cream Tea. The Market and Tea will be from 2-4 PM at the Green Boundary Club.
For more information see 2016 Home & Garden Tour
The tours were begun in the 1960’s by the women of St. Thaddeus to raise money for local outreach projects while showcasing some of Aiken’s fine homes and gardens. Today’s church women and men continue the tradition. The projects benefitting from the 2016 Tour are Hitchcock Woods Foundation, Aiken Therapeutic Riding Center and the Community Medical Clinic.
Photographs, strollers, smoking and food and drink are not allowed in the homes and gardens.
If you’re interested in helping with the Tour, one of Aiken’s most popular springtime events, contact the church office and look for sign up sheets in front of the fountain after church.
