Vestry Minutes
May 20, 2009

ATTENDANCE: Kirsten Collins, Clarke Saunders, Bob McClure, Jennifer Huff, Joe
Mitchell, Sam McGill, Burt Tiffany, Anne Campbell, David Nichols, Rich Waugh, Frank Wise, Paul Carroll, Janine Hepner.

This meeting was commenced at 6:05 pm with prayer by Anne Campbell followed by a devotion presented by Anne.

MOTION: to approve the April minutes as presented made by Sam McGill, seconded by David Nichols and carried by voice vote.

Joe Mitchell reported on the Pentecost/Youth Sunday plans, the mission trip planned for June and shared that his last Sunday would be July 5th.

Frank Wise gave an update on Fr. Wiseman’s schedule and reported that Fr. Wiseman’s first Sunday would be May 31st. A discussion was had on the Mead Hall schedule. Some projects being implemented at St. Thaddeus such as the food boxes for ACTS, and box fans from Lowe’s was discussed. Anne Campbell suggested that an ACTS liaison would greatly benefit St. Thaddeus and volunteered to take on that position. All approved.

Bob McClure discussed the procurement of a new copier. MOTION was made, seconded and carried by voice vote that this procurement would be completed by end of following week.

Burt Tiffany reported on repairs/replacement of back steps by Larlee Construction.

Rich Waugh gave the financial report.

Kirsten Collins reported on Vacation Bible School and requested an additional $700 for expenses. These additional funds were approved.

Judy Allen sent a request for approval to spend budgeted monies for vestments. Vestry concurred with spending.

MOTION: made by David Nichols, seconded by Jennifer Huff to ratify Mead Hall changes previously approved.

Our June meeting will be June 10th. Meeting concluded at 7:20 pm.
