Quiet evening in Lent

Sr. Ellen Stephen, OSH and Postulant Jane Henry of the Convent of St. Helena, Augusta, GA will lead meditations in the Chapel of the Holy Apostles at St. Thaddeus from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, March 29, 2010.

The meditations will be based loosely on the three temptations that Jesus faced in the wilderness where he was driven by the Holy Spirit just before he answered his call to his public ministry. The overall theme of the evening’s teaching is spiritual freedom and peace. The schedule for the evening will consist of 3 meditations and some quiet time in between. Participants may walk on the grounds during the quiet moments.
