Acolytes

acolyte replacing a torch Adults and young people in the 5th grade and above can serve at the altar by joining the Acolyte Guild. Acolytes participate in all Sunday Services and special liturgies, and they assist by carrying processional crosses, lighting candles, holding the Gospel book and torches, handing the offering plates to ushers, and other tasks as needed by the clergy. Individuals will have the chance to serve approximately once a month. Meetings and training are scheduled as needed. Contact Paul Carroll for more information.
