Mead Hall
Mead Hall Episcopal School was founded in 1955 as the parish day school of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church. Originally located on Coker Spring Road in the Winter Colony estate of the George H. Mead family, the school moved to the St. Thaddeus property on Pendleton Street in 1964.
Mead Hall has a strong record of academic achievement and a commitment to developing the minds and hearts of young children. We emphasize the joys of learning, the love of God our Creator, the call to help others, and the importance of making moral choices. We shape the foundation on which our students build their personal and professional lives; and generations of our graduates have gone on to become capable and confident leaders in their communities.
Whether you are considering Mead Hall as an educational option for your child or as opportunity for employment or volunteer involvement, know that we value the well-being of every member of our school family:
- Average class size of 12 students
- Enrichment classes in Spanish, Art, Music, Library, and Computer
- Accelerated Reader participation is encouraged throughout the school.
