Church website

Stthaddeus.org is our newly revamped website. For out-of-town visitors and others searching for a church home, our website is often the first place they look for information. It is important that every visit shows how the Body of Christ lives and breathes on Pendleton Street. The website also has great potential for reaching out to parishioners, current and former, who can’t get to church in Aiken.
You think you couldn’t help with a website. But you can.
- You don’t need to be “tech savvy” to help. If you can send an e-mail, write a sentence, spot a grammar error or take a picture, you have the technical skills we need.
- A little help goes a long way. Right now, one person scans and uploads schedules. It’s a once-a-month job that fits his busy schedule. We can tailor a task just for you.
- Our website receives about 200 page views per day – and that number is growing. We are keeping our website current, and that means visitors see something new every time they come back.
- You can participate just by visiting stthaddeus.org. Though the website is currently full of up-to-date information and special features like online playback of sermons, there may be features you would like to see that haven’t crossed our mind. We welcome your suggestions.
So far, our website has . . .
- Sunday sermons in streaming audio
- Links to readings from the Sunday lectionary
- The church calendar
- The monthly “Vestry Corner” by our Senior Warden
- A photo gallery
- Church announcements
- Acolyte, usher and other lay service schedules
What one former parishioner had to say
Hey y’all! I was surfing the internet and thought I would check out the website. I haven’t been to the site since we moved. It is fabulous! Michael and I are still looking for churches and we use the net as a tool. Y’all put most everyone to shame with the website. Great job!
