First EYC Lock-In a Huge Success
More than 30 members showed up for the first EYC lock-in of the year, which was held in the Mead Hall Gym. The evening began at 9:00 with some fun games and initiatives. From there the group took some time to unwind by watching the blockbuster film ‘Transformers.’ Around midnight they took the time to worship by participating in Compline and sharing the joys and defeats of the week. As the new day began Patrick Phillip and Graham Gordon rocked the house with some intense rock music, while the rest of the group battled in dodgeball, kickball, basketball, and ultimate frisbee games. As the sun came up at 6:30 am the group took part in Morning Prayer as the dawn’s glowing rays came through the windows of the large parlor. Finally, Joe fed the group his famous Mitchell Waffles, and the first lock-in came to a close. It was a wonderful evening, and the group wishes to thank those who took the time out to chaperon all night.
